Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the NVM GeoAttend mobile app and web application. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You may use the app only if your institution has authorized you and you register with accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
2. Acceptable use
- Record attendance only for yourself, honestly, and from your actual location.
- Do not falsify location, use mock-GPS or spoofing tools, or attempt to tamper with attendance records.
- Do not attempt to bypass security controls, capture restricted screens, or access developer tools within the app.
- Do not share your account or use another person’s account.
3. Location and attendance
The app captures your device’s latitude and longitude when you punch in or out and may validate it against your institution’s configured geofence. Entry and exit times are set by our server and cannot be altered by users. Corrections are handled through an audited regularization process.
4. Device limits and security
Your institution may limit the number of devices active on your account and may lock or ban accounts that violate these terms. Security events, including violation attempts, are logged with your IP address for administrator review.
5. Administrator controls
Institution administrators can configure rules (geofence, verification method, device limits, security policies), view attendance and activity, and manage account status. Your use is also subject to your institution’s own policies.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its design, and its content are owned by NVM APPS. You are granted a limited, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended attendance purpose.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided “as is” without warranties. Attendance accuracy depends on device GPS, network availability, and correct configuration. To the extent permitted by law, NVM APPS is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
8. Termination
Your access may be suspended or terminated for violation of these terms or at your institution’s request.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. See the effective date above.
